IT’S CHRIIIIIIIISTMAAAAS! - Stand up comedy - Yes or no?
Well, okay so maybe my post yesterday was a little harsh and maybe a little depressing. But as predicted today was full of family awkwardness mostly awkward silence, rubbish TV..bar Michael McIntyre comedy roadshow that was boss! Am I happy with today?…I mean yeah, I can’t complain.
Today I became a part of the Kindle clan which is kind of cool as I love reading I just hate carrying books round, so this is dope. An all round just about survived day…PHEW, thank god it’s pretty much over for another year. To say it was a “Merry” christmas would be pushing it as some parts over yesterday and today about certain people in my family just made me realise how much some folk are tools. BUT…Nevermind.
CHANGE OF TOPIC….NEW CAREER?!
So here is the deal for the last year I have been pondering pursing/entering into the world of stand up comedy, or that area in some form. Tonight after watching one of my big inspirations on DVD Mr Peter Kay, it’s tried to sway me even more.
I’m not saying i’m particularly funny in anyway but I do have a lot of stories that I have gained over my life due to my constant change of career paths, that could be good to share with the world in a funny manner. I’d like to go into the sort of “family friendly” side, the comedians that don’t constantly bang on about sex and drugs people like Peter Kay, Tim Vines Rhod Gilbert, Lee Mack, David Mitchell, Jack Dee etc…Yes they all mention it in passing and the occasional innuendo but don’t make the show awkward to watch with your parents like such modern comedians like Russell Howard (WHOM I LOVE BY THE WAY)
But yes, the last year I have pondered it…. Hence why I have started uploading more and more videos to youtube of me doing embarrassing dance routines quite frankly. In order to hopefully push up the views on them exposing myself to the world in a bid to increase my confidence to go out and do it. I think I would possibly like a partner in crime in pursing it
Shall I? Or Shan’t I?….That is the question.
